Scribblemania 78

An array of exciting things in the post this week. More copies of Pirates and Pistols,
a batch of proofs for the exciting new Mortimer Keene series written by the talented
Tim Healy and published by Hodder Children's Books,
Brazilian editions of 76 Pumpkin Lane, the pop-up spooky house and
U.S copies of Pip and the Wood Witch Curse, published by the fantastic Albert Whitman
and Co in Chicago, Illinois.

Lovely print job by Albert Whitman and Co. Very pleased with the quality
and the way the artwork has come out. Nice repro job indeed.
See more from them at http://www.albertwhitman.com

Those crazy characters from 76 Pumpkin Lane have packed their bags, dusted
down their passports and headed off to Brazil. Lucky blighters.

The first of a heap of sketchbook exercises in 'patience'
and 'flexing my attention span'. Something I struggle with.
Anyway...that's letter A done with. Only twenty five more to go !

when I first started the blog last year.

Scribblemania 61

I have recently been out on the road doing presentations and workshops. Here are some of the talented children at Rishworth School in Halifax. Thank you to them all and also to Mrs Sheppard .

I was lucky enough last week to return to work with Fran Andrews and the children at Bowling Park Primary School. Fran taught and encouraged me to draw when I was a young lad at Middle School and it was great to go back and see her and meet the children. Thank you for a warm welcome and a great day.
